Praying For Rock Bottom

It isn't easy to admit. It is one of those things you would do anything to not admit. But sometimes, we pray to God that this is it. That we have FINALLY hit rock bottom. That they have FINALLY hit rock bottom. That we can only go up from here. That they can only go up from there.

Life knows how to hit hard. With one blow after the next we pray that this it. It never is though. There is always another time when your heart will break. You will spend some time putting it back together, and then it will break again worst than the last time. It will feel like something you can't survive. It will feel like your heart is being ripped out of your chest and no one has the words to explain why we feel that way which only makes it worse. We sit and pray. Pray that we are now the lowest we could ever go because we don't think we could handle another hit.

On the reverse, we pray that those we see struggling have finally hit their lowest point so they can return to being the happy people we know and love. Nobody wants to hit rock bottom, but we all pray for it because we are scared that life could ever hurt worse than this. It can't get worse than this...
