It Doesn't Make Sense...Or Does It?

Starting from kindergarten you go to school with a lot of the same people you will graduate high school with. Why do we spend most of our lives building relationships with people who will will just have to leave for college?
We build them up so much for what? What is the point if in the end everybody leaves anyways?
Well, it goes like the quote, "Just because the song always ends, it doesn't mean we shouldn't dance while it plays."
Also, they need to be able to withstand the distance. The reason we build these up so much is for when we actually leave high school. If that friendship is strong enough, then it can withstand the distance. It can weather whatever storms passes. I think that life is like this because God knew we would need those friends for the tough years ahead. He knew that we would need people we could lean on as life tests us.
I don't know if this is why, but it sure is a comforting way to look at college.
