Love

It will never be easy to love. It's almost expected that love isn't easy. Some don't want your love, some want all of your love, some will never have your love, and some will only want your love when they see you give it to somebody else. It's hard to believe that God loves us all the same because it's uncommon to love two people 100% equally. It's hard for parents to believe we love them equally, for friends, for siblings, and for every other person in the world. We are all so quick to prove favorites to protect ourselves, but from what?

I have always been so compelled by the idea that love turns our world yet, it makes us crazy. Is that where 'crazy in love' comes from? Also the idea of falling out of love seems unimaginable. If love at first sight real, then can somebody wake up one day and stop loving you just as easily? The logic makes sense. The facts back it up. All signs point to love, the concept that our culture revolves around, as the very thing that has the full capability to destroy us. So why do we even bother? Why does God even bother loving us when he knows full well that we are imperfect and will hurt Him over and over again?

I think the answer is not black nor white. I believe love is infinite. We can make as much as we want whenever we want. Love is in what you do and who you are. God loves us because we are His creation. The love he made. The love that is instilled in each one of us is only a small fraction of the love God has for us. That small reflection of His love that we are capable of feeling is the kind that can last a lifetime. We love because we want not only a lifetime, but an eternity.

It will never be easy to let your loved ones see that they are so loved. They will mess up and act 'crazy', but just love them through it. Nobody, but you can ever fully know the love in your heart, but does that mean that nobody will try to earn it? No.

We may never fully know the love of God, but we still try to earn His love. I guess what I'm trying to say is that love is hard and messy, but so worth it. Quit feeling like you aren't enough because love is infinite. You have His love indefinitely. How cool is that? No conditions. This holiday season love on the people here with you while they are here. They will never know quite how much you love them, but sometimes they don't need to. Sometimes all somebody needs is somebody to love them when God's love isn't always so clear to see. Love them through the fog, and pray to God that when you lose your way, somebody will love YOU through it.

Love will never be easy, but nothing in life worth doing is easy. So, love like CRAZY!
